Happy Monday babes!
Anyone else dreaming of pastels, florals and dresses yet? I swear it’s raining (for some… snowing) outside, but all the major retailers are showing all things spring.
Well, I succumbed to the power of online shopping and pulled the trigger on this gorgeous lavender dress by Free People (which also comes in blue and black). It was seriously love at first click!! I was so obsessed with the bell sleeves, lace details, and ladder pattern around the neckline and arms. The dress is fully lined and ties in the back for the perfect fit. Purple is trending this spring so this little number was a must have as we head into the warmer months. I can totally see myself wearing this to brunch or a girl’s trip to some local wineries. Also, bridal shower appropriate? HELL YES! Done and done!
I paired it with one of my favorite metallic accessories right now, this structured bag from Nasty Gal (which is under $100). Metallic is also a huge trend this spring and I love the stud detail on the handle. Wear it alone or with the cross body strap! And well, you all know by now how much I love a good shoe. These grey lace up heels by Chinese Laundry are just the right mix of casual and dressy. I love the pointed toe which elongates the leg, and the shorter block heel make them super comfortable.
Some other accessories I added were this straw hat, gold hand chain, and bolo necklace. If you are looking for a hat to wear all throughout spring and summer, this is it! I wore it all last summer and it was definitely a go-to. The color goes with everything, and it keeps its’ shape well!
I hope you loved this gorgeous dress as much as I did! Check back tomorrow for another blog post on some of my favorite Galentine’s Day looks. Love you all! ((xoxo))
